How Projects Are Approached
Coastal Cement Studio works with clients to create continuous cement-look finishes for floors, bathrooms, fireplaces, and feature walls. The first conversation is about the room, existing surface, intended use, finish direction, and project location.
Microcement is a layered finish, so the visible colour and texture are only part of the plan. Surface stability, preparation, moisture exposure, edges, transitions, compatible products, cure time, and maintenance all influence whether a proposed application makes sense.
Before work is scheduled, the finish direction and scope should be clear: what is included, what other trades must complete, what sample is being approved, and what site conditions could change the plan. Based in Parksville, we serve clients across Vancouver Island.
